William Henry Geese, 74, of Parrall, Ohio, died Saturday, at 10:50 at Union hospital, Dover, following one yearÙus illness of heart disease.

NATIVE OF COSHOCTON COUNTY DIES SATURDAY AT HOSPITAL IN DOVER

William Henry Geese, 74, of Parrall, Ohio, died Saturday, at 10:50 at Union hospital, Dover, following one yearÙus illness of heart disease.

He was born March 24, 1876 in Coshocton county, son of Christopher and Hannah Phillabaum Geese. On Jan. 1, 1901, he was married to Clara Shumaker, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Lester Geese of Los Angeles, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Chauncey Studer, Mrs. Harold Schneider, both of Canton, Mrs. Ross Hoopengardner, Sugarcreek; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; onebrother, George Geese, Fresno, and a foster sister, Mrs. Nellie Shaw, Coshocton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the First Lutheran church at Strasburg. Rev. Lloyd Riggle will officiate and burial will be in West Lawn cemetery, Wooster road, Dover.

Friends will be received, at the Lewis funeral home, Dover, Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 22 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 1 Change Date: 10 Sep 2012 ...
