Mrs. Ruth Deal, 66, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Samaritan hospital, Ashland, following a long illness.

Ruth Geese was born Feb. 12, 1896, at Fresno, a daughter of G. W. and Sarah Olinger Geese, and was married Jan. 1, 1920, to Orange Dile, who died. On March 14, 1945, she was married to Edward Deal, who is also deceased.

She is survived by one son, Frank Dile of Ashland; three sisters, Mrs. Dane Jennings and Lola Barnes of Barberton, and Mrs. Clara Hanes, Scio. One son, one brother, five half-sisters and four half-brothers are deceased.

She was a member of the E.U.B. church and the Golden Age group of Ashland.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the E.U.B. church, Ashland. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery, Coshocton, at 3:30 p.m. with short services and opening of the casket.

Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Denbow funeral home, Ashland.
