Note: Grace Gronewold, 98 of Ellsworth dies Saturday march 20, 2004 at parkview manor Nursing Home, Ellsworth. Born June 19, 1905 in George, IA she was the daughter of John and Angeline (Ackerman) Donker. She married Peter H Gronewold JUne 4,1921, in Sibley, IA. He died in 1963.

She grew up and attended country school near George, IA. After marriage hey lived on farms near Reading and Magnolia, before moving to Adrian. In 1937 they moved to Worthington. She was a cook at General Hospital and Clark's Cagfe. Shethen worked at Campbell soup Co. for 25 years. After retiring she took care of the elderly. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Worthington.

Surviving are 1 son peter (Rosie) Gronewold, Ellsworth; 18 grandchildren, 365 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10-11 Wednesday at Westmionster Presbyterian Church, Worthington. The service will follow with the Rev Ken Honius officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery. Benson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.
