Note: Robert Akkerman Robert L. Akkerman, 55, of 4000 Fairhall AVe., died Thursday in McKennan Hospital.

Mr. Akkerman was born June 30, 1929 in Humboldt. He married Donna Liesinger June 22, 1954 in Humboldt. He worked as a welder for 15 years for Koman-Athuy, then was a steel fabricator for Egger Steel for seven years. He was a member of theIndependent Order of Foresters..

Survivors include his wife; three sons: Dr. Dale, Minneapolis; and Dave and Daniel of Sioux Falls and a daughter Rhonda, Sioux Falls.

Services will begin at 1 PM Saturday in Miller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
