"... In 1959 my Aunt Ardis Thomas married Norman Knutson, Ardis' cousin William Thomas had married Rhoda Knutson several years earlier. I should have that year somewhere, just not at my fingertips. Based on William's age and that their older kids are older than me..I say circa 1953. Ardis andNorman were married in Holland, Pipestone Co, MN..home base for the Thomas clan. Norman died in 1979 and my Aunt just died last week. They are both buried at the Gary, SD cemetery. ..."

"The person I'm most interested is Norman Knutson (1929-1979). He was married to my aunt. I'm not sure if his parents were Carl Knutson and Jeanette Moore (you list them as having a child as "living Knutson") Norman died in the Minneapolis area, and the MN death index lists his mothers maiden as "SLEAPER". So was Jeanette his mother??? I know Jeanette died young and Carl married a Gertie Sleaper. I think Jeanette's mother and Gertie were sisters???? Norman's sister/half sister, Rhoda Knutson also married a cousin in my family, and she is still living. It sounds like Norman had 5 siblings. Rhoda, plus two other sisters and two brothers. One brother was named Carl."
