"Edgar R. SCHAAP

SCHAAP Edgar R. Edgar R. Schaap, 79, of Murrieta, CA, went to be with the Lord October 28, 2011. Ed was born in Aplington, Iowa, on October 30, 1931. Ed was a New York Life insurance agent for 35 years in Grand Rapids and Toledo. He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn (Gardner), children, Steve (Christine) Schaap of Rockford, MI, Karen (Mark) Bosman of Wyoming, MI, David (Virginia) Schaap of Pittsburgh, PA, John (Deborah) Gardner of Dallas, TX, JoAnn (Mark) Ensminger of Temecula, CA,; brother, Arnold Schaap; sister, Arlene Maifeld, and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Rose (Palmer), his wife of 38 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CRWRC.org or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
