"FRANCES PETERSON

Frances "Rose" Peterson, 66, 3117 9th Ave. S. died Friday morning at her home following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, with the Rev. Herbert L. Yoder, pastor of the Evangelical Mennonite Church, officiating. Burial will be in Carpenter Cemetery. Visitation is after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Calmer, Peoria, Ariz. Joyce L. Peterson and Velma J. Peterson, both of Fort Dodge, and Beth M. Johnson, Des Moines; sons, Thomas J. Peterson, Byers, Colo., and Aldin L. Peterson, Fort Dodge; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; mother, Sarah Beck; brother, Edward Beck; and sister, Mary Catnik, all of Fort Dodge. She is preceded in death by her husband, father and one brother.

Frances Rose Beck was born July 13, 1925, in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Fort Dodge before marrying Marion Peterson in 1943 in Fort Dodge, where the couple lived. He died in 1989.

She was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Church of Fort Dodge."
