'Mrs. Thelma Stadler CASTALIA - Services are pending at the Andres-Tucker Funeral Home, Sandusky, for Thelma Stadler, 78, who died early today in a fire at her home at 7706 Parker Road.
Mrs. Stadler was a native of Castalia, born March 1, 1899, to the late William H. and Sarah E. (Collins) Havice. Her husband James I. died in 1960. Also preceding her were three sons, two killed in 1975 in a plane crash in the State ofOregon, ...
Mrs. Stadler was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky, and the Margaretta Grange.'

'Victims Of Plane Crash Identified
The skeletal remains found in the vicinity of a crashed airplane Saturday northwest of Drain have been identified as those of three Ohio men, missing since Feb. 15.
Douglas County Sheriff's deputies today said positive identification has been made of David Stadler, 44, and his brother, John, 40, of Castalia, Ohio. ... .. hunting in the area, which is off Smith River Road on U.S. Bureau of Land Management property. ... The wreckage ... was observed through a rifel scope, from a log landing at thte end of a BLM road.
The hunters observed what appeared to be plan wing wrapped around a tree on the east face of the canyon. ... The site was six miles up Smith River from Highway 99, then another three miles up the BLM road. The wreckage was on the eastcanyon wall near Lootout Mountain. ... The wrckage was found about six miles southeast of Gunter, ... ... The remains were taken to Long & Shukle Memorial Chapel in Roseburg.'
