'Ruth E. Koos was born January 6, 1914 to Bertha and Charles H. Koos, one and a half miles west of Delta on the homestead. She went to Haller school for eight years and went to Delta High School where she graduated in 1933. ... In thespring of 1950 she became very ill. She went to Parkview Hospital for treatment and died May 2, 1950. Ruth E. Koos was a very good cake and cookie baker and played the piano very well.' <>
