'Charles Henry Koos married Bertha May Hurron in 1912. Bertha was born May 23 1886 to Charles Hurron and Merniva Hurron, who lived in Ohio. Their homes were about 22 to 24 miles apart. Charles went in a horse and buggy once a week tosee her. The trip took about four and a half hours one way.'

'Bertha lived until death called her in December 20, 1955. Their bodies are laid at Fulton Union Cemetery.'
