Daniel E. Sleper, 44, of Milwaukee, Wis., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, in Milwaukee.
A private graveside service involving immediate family members was held Thursday Oct. 8, 2015, at Broadway Christian Church Memorial Gardens.
Daniel was a graduate of Hickman High School and the University of Missouri. He also received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Western Governors University. Daniel worked as a computer programmer in the information technology industry.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Jaime Sleper of Columbia; two children, Benjamin and Sydney Sleper of Pingree, Ill., from a previous marriage; stepsons, Matthew and Austin Gwin; his father, David Sleper; sister, Kimberly Hurtado, brother-in-law Joe Hurtado; step mother, Lynn Barnett; and nieces Abby and Lucy Hurtado of Columbia.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Sleper and step-son K.C. Gwin.
Memorials may be designated to the Chancel Choir at Broadway Christian Church, 2601 W. Broadway."
