Robert L. Navorska

Robert L. Navorska, age 74, of 814 Broad Ave. NW, passed away Saturday afternoon in the Cleveland

[photo-Robert LeRoy Navorska]

Clinic after a brief illness. He was born in Cleveland and had been a Canton resident most of his life. Mr. Navorska and his wife wintered in Leesburg, FL the past nine years. He was a 1934 graduate of McKinley High School. He was Vice President of Strasburg Provision Co. and previously was co-owner of G & N Dairy in the Arcade Market for many years. He attended Bethel Lutheran Church and was a member of Canton Elks Lodge #68; Lathrop Lodge #676, F&AM; the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton; and Al Koran Temple in Cleveland. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Sexauer Navoska; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Nancy) Vossen of Canton, Sandra Vaughn and Mrs. Jerry (Teri) Barnes, both of North Canton; six grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy F. Waltonen officiating. Interment in Dalton Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday one hour before the services. Contributions in Mr. Navorska's memory may be made to either the Canton Shrine Club Transportation Fund, c/o Hobert F. Rhodes, 4579 Bishop's Gate Rd/ NW, Canton OH 44708 or to Bethel Lutheran Church."
