Susan Kane Reynolds, 92, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 7, 2019.

Born in Westfield, N.J., to Patrick and Anna Kane (nee Tally), she was preceded in death by her husband, George and seven brothers and sisters, namely Patrick, James, Michael, Francis, Anna, Rose and Jeanette and in-laws, Rita, wife of Patrick; Delores, wife of James; Margaret (Peggy), wife of Michael, and Salvatore Urbano, husband of Jeanette. She has one surviving brother, John and his wife, Judi.

Susan and George raised their seven children in Kearny, N.J. They and their spouses are William and Christine Reynolds, Ann and Thomas Chambers, Susan and Larry Rineer, Mary and Stephen Mikan, Bernadette and Andrew Ryan, Rose and John Lombard and Joyce and Ruben Lopez. Susan is the grandmother of 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Susan graduated from Dickenson High School, Jersey City, N.J. She obtained her licensed practical nursing from Jersey City Medical Center at age 40. She worked at West Hudson Hospital, Kearny.

Susan was an active member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Kearny and St. Theodore's Roman Catholic Church in Port Murray, N.J. Susan was an active member of the Warren County Arts Association, winning awards for her oil paintings in county and statewide competition.
