Mrs. Jeanette (Kane) Urbano of Passaic died suddenly with her husband, Salvatore, on Saturday, April 25, 2009.

She was 72 years old. Relatives and friends may call at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Dr., Kearny, on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be offered in St. Stephen's Church, Kearny, on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.thiele-reid.com.

Jeanette was born in Jersey City, before moving to Passiac in 1961. She earned a nursing degree from the Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing. Jeanette was employed as a Registered Nurse at Passaic General Hospital for 30 years before retiring seven years ago.

She was a Eucharistic minister at her parish, Holy Trinity Church in Passaic. She is survived by her six devoted children, Rose Mary Olcese (Gino), Joseph (Muna), John (Jacqueline), Thomas (Kimberly), Michael and Frank Urbano. She was the sister of Susan Reynolds, Michael Kane (Peggy), John Kane (Judy), and sister-in-law of Rita Kane. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Mary Faith Urbano.
