Esther Simons, the tenth child God gave Benjamin Simons and Mary Esther DuPre, was born on 1st of June, 1710, in the house at Middleburg Plantation. She was baptized three weeks after in the church at Pumpkin Hill by Mr. Hasel, Minister. Her father and mother and Miss Burban DuPre were her Godfather and Godmothers. Esther Simons lived to a good old age and died single.
