Notes about Martha Simons

Martha Simons, the eighth child God gave Benjamin Simons and Mary Esther DuPre, was born on 9th of February, 1706, at midnight in the house at Middleburg Plantation. She was baptized the 14th of April, 1706, in the house at the Orange Quarter by Mr. Trevaillar, Minister. Mr. Isaac Lesesne, who was residing at Furisford, was her Godfather and Mrs. Francis Blanchar was her Godmother. Martha Simons married Archibald Young. She was the grandmother of Mrs. James Read and of Mrs. Bullock in Savannah, Georgia.
