Elizabeth Simons, the seventh child God gave Benjamin Simons and Mary Esther DuPre, was born on Friday the 20th of April, 1704, at 5 o'clock in the morning in the house at Middleburg Plantation. She baptized by Mr. Samuel Thomas, English Minister, in the house at Pumpkin Hill , where divide service as usually performed. Her father and mother were here Godparents. Elizabeth Simons married James Paul Cordes, the son of Dr. Anthonie Cordes and Esther Madaleine Balluet, and died leaving no children.
