    Funeral services for Mr. Jacob G. Mouw, 80, of Orange City, were held Tuesday afternoon June 14, at the Trinity Reformed Church. Rev. Donald Meenderink officiated. Burial was made in the Westlawn cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Orville De Jong, Wilbur De Jong, Gary Kreykes, James Mouw, Dick Duitermars and William Reekers.

    Mr. Mouw passed away suddenly at his home early Saturday morning.

    Jacob G. Mouw was born August 2, 1885 at Alta, Wisconsin. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Mouw. Mr. Mouw came to Orange City as a lad. He married Miss Harriet Muilenburg on February 26, 1908. She passed away in May of 1960. He married Mrs. Florence Rozeboom in June of 1961.

    He leaves to mourn his passing his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Wissink of Grand Rapids; two sons, John Willard of Long Beach, Cailif., and Phillip of Hammond, Louisiana; 1 step-daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Schula of Alberquerque, New Mexico. Also seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; one brother Evert Mouw of Sioux Center and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert De Jong of Orange City and Mrs. Dick Kreykes of Sioux Center survive.
