In 1878 verlaten ze Ermelo; 01.02.1888 emigreren ze naar de USA. John Mouw is begraven aldaar. Op deze begraafplaats liggen ook zijn schoondochters Ane Poole en Jane Mouw-Wieberdink.

Adres: S 20b, S 16, 1866, Ermelo (gezin vertrok 26 febr. 1878 naar Apeldoorn en vertrok naar Amerika op 1 febr.1888). Beroep: landbouwer.

Zij kregen 4 kinderen: Evert (Edward) * 08.04.1864; Willem * 11.09.1865; Elizabeth * 16.03.1867; Jan * 16.02.1869.

Landbouwer. Zij komen 1878 uit de gemeente Ermelo en vertrekken op 01-02-1888 naar de USA. Register van Greenleafton Cherry Grove Cemetery, USA vermeld een John Mouw Sr. overleden 23.09.1913. Is dat deze Jan Mouw (zijn schoondochters Anna Poole en Jane Mouw-Wieberdink liggen er ook begraven)?
