In the 1880 Columbus County census of Williams Township, I believe Collier Fowler, was enumerated twice, once on June 17th. and again on June 18th. on the 17th there is a Collier Fowler 19 years old in the household # 284, of his father Isaac Fowler, and on the 18th. there is a 19 year old Coiler Fowler, head of household # 294, and his wife Sarah M., no children, he is listed as a laborer. More research is needed on this.

In the 1900 Columbus County, census of South Williams Township, Collier Fowler, is listed as head of household # 130, with his wife Sarah M., they are listed as being married 20 years, and as having had 9 children with 7 still living all 7 are at home in 1900, he is listed as a farmer.

#167, Stephen C. Fowler`s children are too old to be the children of his present wife Nancy, who is listed as 24 years of age and only married 5 years and having 3 children with 3 living.
