Notes about John Muse

[Rhonda Randall.ged]

John Muse shows up on the 1820 and 30 census of Pulaski but is missed on the 1840 and 50 census.   John Muse is proven as a son of Richard by Richard's Will (On File in Pulaski Co.. Courthouse).  Richard made him the executor of the Will but did not disclose any inheritance for John.  There is only one child that has been proven to be of John and Katherine and that is William P. Muse.  A direct decedent of this line Donald C. Muse has a letter written by Luther Muse a son of Samuel Gilmore Muse who was a son of William P. Muse.  In this letter Luther discloses that his Great Grandfather was John Muse that had brother James and Thomas.
However our research of the archives disclosed Katharine Muse (spelled Catharine on census record) age 63, page 375, of the 1860 census with a probable daughter Isabel age 20 in the household.  William P. Muse was enumerated on page 374 of the same census.  Death date extracted from Pulaski County early deaths, Internet.
