Notes about William John Fioto

We have a copy of Grandpa Bill's birth certificate #4155. It states he was born April 15, 1892 as Willie parents are Antonio and Carmela Cacaca. Other documents say April 16th. Also, note that the death certificate state Ap 16,1891. This is incorrect.

He lived in the Brooklyn Ward 14, Kings Co, NY in 1910, 1915. 1920, and 1925 (Oyster Bay, Nassau Co), 1930 & 1940 they lived in Ozone Park, Queens.

Married 26 October 1913 at Mount Carmel Church in Brooklyn. Witnesses were Giovanni D'Elia and Maria Fiota. Names on the church marriage licence are Gugliermo S. Fiota and Maria Rosina D'Elia. NY license looks like 11811.

Also have Coast Guard card, DL, car registration on other things.

Have the mass card from Grandpa's funeral.

Grandpa born at 127 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.

I remember him on our roof fixing it when we lived in South Florida. The doctors told him he was too old to do that. It seemed he died shortly after that.

He is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Brooklyn - 2 October 1974.
