Henry was born at 223 North 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Although Henry was an Electrician for most of his life, he was adept in Automotive mechanics, carpentry, plumbing and gardening. During his years at the Todd Ship Yard in Hoboken, N.J., he originated a wire marking system that is still in use today.

His family would summer on Eastern Long Island, and Henry commuted out of Brooklyn on weekends to spen time with them. After retirement he moved permanently to Riverhead, Long Island, NY.
