Notes about David Henry Mitchell

Dave was employed for many years by the S.P. Railway in Eugene as a car repairman. He served with the Second Oregon Volunteers during the Spanish American and Phillipine Insurrection 1898-99. His great courage and reckless daring carried him into many hazardous situations from which only his own efforts extricated him.
