Helen C. Mulgrew, 88, of Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City, Wisconsin, formerly of East Dubuque, Illinois, died at 3:15 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the nursing home. Services were at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Dubuque, with the Rev. Paul Otting officiating. Burial was in the East Dubuque Cemetery. Family and friends called from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, November 5, at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, where there wasa parish rosary recited at 4 p.m.
She was survived by a son Kenneth (Gayle) Mulgrew of Albert Lea, Minn., and 10 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; a son, Dallas J. Mulgrew, on July 16, 2004; and a brother, Oswald "Peck" Schulting, on February 1, 1998.
