Mrs. Catherine Bauer, 68, widow of William Bauer, died Saturday morning at 6:30 o'clock, November 18, 1939, at the home of her son, Aloysius Bauer, in Meniminee, Illinois. The body was at the residence of her son, Edward Bauer, in Menominee, from where the funeral was held at 9 o'clock, Monday morning, November 20, to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Menominee at 9:30 o'clock. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was survived by two sons, Edward and Aloysius, both of Menominee, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Budden, of Sinsinawa, Wis., and Mrs. George Bauer and Mrs. William Thiltgen, both of Menominee, Ill.; and two brothers, John Schulting and Ben Schulting, both of Menominee, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her daughter, Stella; two brothers; and two grandchildren.
