Mrs. William (Petronella) Thiltgen, 66, of Galena, Illinois, died Monday afternoon, October 29, 1945, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Funeral services were held from the Furlong Chapel Home at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Galena at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 1. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Emma) Thill, Mrs. Cliff (Irene) Van Zile, and Mrs. August (Philomena) Kruser, all of Dubuque, Ia., and Mrs. Mildred Doyle, of Galena, Ill.; one son, Harold Thiltgen, of Menominee, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. George (Margaret) Bauer, of Menominee, Ill.; one brother, Bernard Schulting, of Menominee, Ill.; and 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
