MARRIAGE: He did not marry.
DEATH: He died aged 41. Cause of death--"Influenza, pnuemonia", duration,
"nine days". Comments from "The Nathalia Herald" of 19 August 1902.--"Two
very sad deaths occurred on Friday last (15 August 1902) at Kotupna. The
first was a young man named J. Williams, aged about 24 years, son of Mr. and
Mrs. P. Williams, and grand-son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Pridmore, senior. The
second death was that of Mr. F. Pridmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Pridmore,
senior, aged about 40. The two deceased worked together and were attacked by
the prevailing epidemic, influenza, which developed into pnuemonia. They
occupied the same house, were ill together, and died in the same room within a
few hours of each other. ... We regret to state that several members of the
same family are now prostrated by illness." [Frederick Pridmore's mother, Ann
Pridmore nee Hunt, died on 18 or 19 Aug. 1902.]
BURIAL: He was buried in Grave 11, Division II, Portion A, Old Methodist Area,
General Cemetery of Nathalia, Vic.
