Mary Limberg and Bruce Tapper were united in marriage Saturday, March 12, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Buffalo Center with Father E. Lechtenberg performing .the 10:30 a.m. ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Menno Limberg and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tapper all of Buffalo Center.
Mary Schmidt furnished the organ music and also accompanied Mrs. James Gauley and Mrs. Loren Kopp as they sang "Heart of Jesus Hear On This Day."
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white street length dress of bonded cotton lace and her bouquet was of red roses.
Linda Gauley, of Buffalo Center, friend of ithe bride, was the bridesmaid and wore a white dress of cotton lace over mint green and carried white and spring green carnations.
Donald Geifcen of Buffalo Center, the groom's brother-in-law, served as best man and ushers were Larry Tapper of Mankato, Minn., brother of the groom, and Bill Limberg of Buffalo Center, brother of the bride.
A dinner was given by Mr. and Mrs. Menno Limberg for 40 guests at the Walter Tapper home after the ceremony. The bride and groom both attended the Buffalo Center Community School and 'the groom is engaged in farming with his father.
The couple left for a wedding trip to eastern Iowa and they are now at home on the farm two miles west and five south of Buffalo Center."

Mass of Christian Burial was held for Mary E. Klaassen, 43, of Buffalo Center Monday morning, July 15, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Buffalo Center with Father Leo Riley as celebrant Mary passed away Thursday, July 11,1991 at North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City. Interment was in Graccland Cemetery with Winter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dona Yegge was the organist and Judy and Troy Junkermeier sang. Pallbearers were Marvin Austin, Delbert Lieurance, Harold Wibben, Lamont Junkermeier, Larry Anderson and Ross Ellsworth.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Meyer, Harlan Melz, Harold Eisenman, Alvin Hofbauer and Ronnie Huisinga.
Mary Klaassen was born November 11, 1947 in Algona, Iowa to Menno and Rosemary (Semon) Limberg. She grew up in Buffalo Center, attended Buffalo Center High School and resided in this area for her entire life. She worked as a dentalassistant for Dr. D. G. Johnson for many years. From 1979 to 1989 Mary and her dad, Menno, ran the M&M Insurance Agency.
On January 12, 1985 Mary was united in marriage to Robert Klaassen at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Mary held the position of Assistant Town Clerk before taking employment at the Buffalo Center Farmers Coop" Elevator inSeptember of 1987. She was employed there at the time of her death.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and active in the Altar Society. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing and people.
Mary is survived by her husband, Robert of Buffalo Center; one daughter, Nicole Tapper of Maple Grove, Minnesota; one son, Jay Tapper and wife Holly of Iowa City; her parents, Menno and Rosemary Limberg of Buffalo Center; four sisters,Carolyn Jacobson and husband Loren of West Des Moines; Marjorie Ball and husband Bill of Joplin, Missouri; Jean Andersen and husband Steve of North Mankato, Minnesota; Sharon Delgado and husband Charlie of Newton; one brother, A. William(Bill) Limberg and wife Naomi of Blue Springs, Missouri; a sister-in-law,"
