  • First name Maria Catharina" 'Tiny".
  • She was born on January 11, 1940 in Barger Compascuum Emmen, Drenthe, Nederland.

    Tekst van het Bidprentje;
    "Toen de schoolgang voorbij was ging zij aan het werk. Aanvankelijk werkte zij op het land, aansluitend ging zij in betrekking om vervolgens de overstap te maken naar Honeywell en Drenthea.

    Het ontluikende levensgeluk van de jonge Tiny werd ruw verstoord; een week voor het huwelijk overleed haar aanstaande bruidegom Bennie Hoffard. Liefdevol en opracht werd zij door haar dierbaren opgevangen.

    Het levensgeluk werd hervonden; op 7 augustus 1973 gaf Tiny haar jawoord aan Henk Hölscher. Hij was een lieve vader voor haar kinderen zoals Tiny liefdevol moederde over haar familieleden. Door het leven angstig van aard geworden , was zij er bezorgd over het wel en wee van kinderen, kleinkinderen en de andere dierbaren.

    Het huis van Tiny was voor de familie het adres van de zoete inval, waar ruimte was voor iedereen: eten, drinken en slapen was altijd mogelijk. Gastvrij was zij ook voor wie niet tot de familie hoorde, thuiszorgmedewerksters en vele anderen vonden de deur gastvrij open. Altijd had Tiny mensen om zich heen.

    Hoewel haar gezondheid broos was, behield Tiny haar opmerkelijke humor. Een oma die oprecht verlangde te zien hoe haar kleinkinderen opgroeiden, een volgende stap in het leven zouden zetten. Onverwacht echter verslechterde  haar gezondheid. "
