Amy Drake was born February 3, 1666, in Weymouth in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. She is the daughter of [[Drake-269|Thomas Drake]] and [[Holbrook-75|Jane Holbrook]].[[#Phillips|Phillips]] Page 14-15
Amy married [[Phillips-506|Joshua Phillips]] in 1686 probably in Weymouth. They had two children.
Joshua Phillips died in January 1691. Amy and her father were granted administration of the estate.[[#Phillips|Phillips]] Page 15 cites Suffolk Probate, New Series, Vol. 4: Page 98 Inventory taken by John Holbrook and James Nash, 23 Jan 1690, and presented by Aymee Phillips as the estate of her late husband, 27 Jan 1691.[[#Phillips|Phillips]] Page 15 cites Suffolk Probate, Old Series, Vol. 8: Page 181
When her father-in-law, [[Phillips-209|Richard Phillips]], died in 1695, Amy received a one-seventh share of his estate.[[#Will-Phillips-209|Will-Phillips-209]
