Joseph Drake was born 28 October, 1663. Joseph married firstly, Elishia Unknown, who died 23 February, 1717/18 at Weymouth. He married secondly, 16 May, 1718 at Weymouth, Lydia Kingman, daughter of Thomas and Rececca Kingman, of Weymouth. He served in the expedition to Canada in 1690.Chamberlain, George Walter.
