== Biography ==A John Brown and Mary McCulloch married in Rowan Co. NC on 27 NOV 1788. Some have thought that this could be the marriage of this John and Mary. However, Ann Alldredge of Panama City, FL, gave me (CAS) information on the John and Mary that married in Rowan County. It is definitely not this John and Mary. She also will see that the LDS Ancestral File incorrectly merged with information of this John and Mary's family is corrected. MARCH 2001.
I believe she could be the daughter of John Roark because her husband was administrator of John Roark's estate. BUT THIS IS ONLY A GUESS. THERE IS NO SOURCE OF HER MAIDEN NAME. John Brown's brother David Brown married Sarah Roark, a daughter of John Roark.
