Per Emily's birth certificate it states Emily, girl, born 04 May 1866 at Crossway Green, Hartlebury, daughter of Sarah Sprague (Spragg) signed (mark of x) Sarah Sprague, mother, Crossway Green, Hartlebury, birth registered on 02 June 1866, William Wild Registrar, Birth in the Sub-district of Ormesby, County of Worcester, Registration District Droitwich. Note father not recorded.

Death certificate states Sarah Spragg, female, age 39 years, daughter of Thomas Spragg, a master cooper, died of cancer of the breast, on 27 Dec 1868 at Crossway Green,Hartlebury,died in the presence of Ann Spragg of Crossway Green, Hartlebury, registered 30 Dec 1868 by William Wild, Registrar, District Droitwich. Ann was possibly Ann Austin, her sister in law.?
