Per 1851 census John aged 26 was an unmarried servant, boot & shoe maker, also noted a journeyman and lived at High Street, Lower Mitton, Kidderminster,head of house was William Merrick a boot and shoe maker. Per 1861 census John was head of the family and lived at High Street, Lower Mitton,Kidderminster, John being a cordwainer and his wife was a boot closer. Can find no trace of this family on the 1871 census!!!
