Aanvullingen over de Claas Pietersz en zijn afstammelingen zijn afkomstig uit het artikel 'De families Melsen en Krijger te Pernis en omstreken' van drs J. van Veelen en J.H. van der Boom in 'Ons Voorgeslacht'- 1996, pag. 353 e.v.
Hij zou ook onder de achternamen Steenbacker en Vormer transacties hebben gedaan in 1652:
1. Claas Pietersz. Steenbacker te Pernis koop op 13-10-1652 van Huijch Leendertsz. van de Oudenhoorn, cleermaecker te Pernis, een huis en erve aan de buitenzijde van de Pastoriedijk aldaar.
2. Claas Pietersz. Vormer ondertekent op 7-10-1652 een schuldbrief. Borgen zijn Cornelis Leendertsz. Biersteker en Arien Willemsz. Zij wonen allen op de Pernissersluis.
Het lijkt erop dat het hier steeds om dezelfde persoon handelt, gezien de handtekening die Claas Pietersz. Vormer onder de schuldbrief zet.
