leenman van de hofstad Spangen te Poortugaal, kerkmeester van de kerk van Poortugaal en Hoogvliet 1643, schepen van Poortugaal 1645-1646 en Heenvliet 1643.
De afstammelingen van Leendert Pietersz. zijn te vinden in het artikel van K.J. Slijkerman in het blad "De Nederlandsche Leeuw" van 1983 kolom 347 t/m 379 "Het geslacht Welhouck alias Van der Laen alias Groenendijck alias Koojer uit Poortugaal". De naam Welhouck is waarschijnlijk ontleend aan de polder welhoek in het land van Poortugaal, ontstaan in de 13e eeuw. De fam. Welhouck verkreeg in 1612 het leen te Poortugaal ten vrij eigen in ruil voor zekere vijf gemet weiland genaamd "welhouck" in het ambacht Brabant bij Spijkenisse. Leendert Pietersz. is in 1643 kerkmeester van de kerk van Heenvliet, maakt zijn testament 29.10.1660, wonende te Poortugaal
