Maria Welten-Jacobs, Jet en Frits op de prachtige veranda van 't Groenewoud in lang vervlogen tijden.
Een idyllisch plaatje van het Café van Toontje Welten "'t Groenewoud" gelegen aan de Hagenkampweg 108 op de kruising met de Laagstraat waar tot 1959 het Bels Lijntje voorbij reed. Het café moest verdwijnen voor de aanleg van de Karel de Grotelaan.
Op deze situatieschets is te zien hoe het kruispunt van wegen in 1926 was.
Ook de positie van de fotograaf is aangegeven.
Het riviertje linksboven is de Gender die rond 1948 ongeveer vanaf de Bliekstraat c.q. Anna van Engelandstraat werd overkluisd, maar mogelijk in de toekomst toch weer de kans gaat krijgen gedeeltelijk bovengronds te stromen.
