Hij was Graaf van Luxemburg en Markgraaf van Arlon.
Walram heeft in zijn wapen een rode leeuw als 1e nu met dubbele staart op een zilver schild.
Hendrik draagt zijn gezag al na een jaar over aan zijn broer Walram IV in 1227.
Volgens het boek "Eiflia Illustrata" uit 1825 blz 858 corr.van J.G.Schannat en G.Barsch geschreven is hij eerst met de erfdochter Jutta van Monchau dochter van Ludwich van Monchau gehuwd en sterft deze tak van Monchau uit.
In 1210 Stiften Walram und gemalin Jutta bei ihrem schlos Reichenstein ein Praemonstratenser Kloster, kort daarna zou Jutta gestorven zijn.
Later huwt Isabella de dochter van Ermesinde II uit haar eerste huwelijk met Walram IV.
