Biografie: Woonde te Woudenberg, aan de "Wetering", van beroep landbouwer. Schepen te Woudenberg (1729).

Biografie: Jan Thijsz koopt na zijn huwelijk met Merritje de hofstede Ginckel aan de Wetering. Op 5-12-1707 wordt hij genoemd als eigenaar van het Verloren Land te Scherpenzeel. Erft in 1715 1/6 deel van een huis en hof op de Wetering van zijn schoonouders en gaat in 1727 een deling aan van een huis aan de Groep (Leersum) met zijn halfzuster Grietje Jans van Egdom.
