In het Ondertrouwboek Groningen 1747-1754, Inventarisnummer 180, folio 203 staat op zaterdag 6 januari 1753 het voorgenomen huwelijk geregistreerd van Anthonius Strikker, van Meppen in Munster met Maria Derks, van Leek; waarvoor de registratie wordt gedaan door Derk Pieters als vader. Het rooms-katholiek huwelijk wordt ingezegend op 29 januari 1753 en het burgerlijk huwelijk wordt op 30 januari 1753 gesloten door ds Folkers(ma).
