Magazijnbediende bij het Friesch Dagblad, wonende te Groningen en Sneek. Vanwege verzetsactiviteiten in WOII opgepakt en overgebracht naar concentratiekamp Dachau waar hij is overleden. In 1961 is Henk herbegraven op de erebegraafplaats in Loenen bij Apeldoorn.
In Sneek is een straat naar hem vernoemd, de Famylje Leverstrjitte.
