Notes about Ate Trox

Vervulde de militaire dienstplicht tijdens de mobilisatie van 1914 tot 1918 en was als soldaat ingedeeld bij het 12e Regiment Infanterie.
Was eerst voerman in de zaak van zijn vader. Later brandstoffenhandelaar van beroep met eigen zaak aan de Westerhaven 9. Zelf woonde hij met Lucia van der Leest eerst aan de Nieuwe Bleekerstraat nr. 22, 15 en 2, later aan de Westerhaven nr. 7. Vrouw Lucia dreef op ieder genoemd nummer aan de Nieuwe Bleekerstraat een kruidenierswinkel.
Beide echtelieden zijn begraven op de Noorderbegraafplaats in Groningen.
