Na de inval van de Jappen in nacht van 10 op11 januarie 1942 capatuleerde Nederands Indië op 8 maart 1942.

In de maanden na de capatulatie werden de Nederlandse Indiërs te werk gesteld als slavenarbeiders in het land zelf en daar buiten.

Kota Paris was een wijk in Buitenzorg (Bogor) die in april 1944 "kamp Kota Paris" genoemd werd en waar de vrouwen en kinderen gevangengezet werden.

Waaronder ook Elize Antoinette Bax en haar kinder en dus ook mijn schoonmoeder Herlena Petronella Beers en haar broers en zussen.

Mijn schoonmoeder was in het gavangenenkamp werkzaam als verpleegster.
