De klompenmaker R.Tienkamp te Vries wilde hedenmorgen een geweer laden, doch daar de patroon er niet vlot inging, tikte zijn zoon er met een hamer op, met het omngelukkige gevolg, dat de patroon ontplofte en beide mannen de lading in het gezicht kregen.
Geen van beiden konden aanvankelijk zien, terwijl de zoon bovendien in het aangezicht bloedend was verwond.
De toestand van beide personen moet echter nog al bevredigend zijn, doch het gebeurde blijft niettemin eene waarschuwing voor anderen om met dergelijke dingen voorzichtig te zijn.
