    Alexander Steenssens, ijzerwegbediende oud zeven en dertig jaren geboren en woonachtig te Bornhem, welken ons vertoond heeft een kind van het vrouwelijk geslacht gisteren om elf uren des nachts geboren in deze gemeente van hem verklaarder en van zijne echtgenote Maria Elisabeth Van den bossche oud vier en dertig jaren hier geboren en aan welk kind hij verklaard heeft te willen geven den voornaam van Leonia.
    De voormelde vertoning en verklarenig gedaan ter tegenwoordigheid van Petrus Waumans,ijzerenwegbediende oud zeven en dertig jaren en Petrus Joannes Van Acoleyen brievendrager oud zes en dertig jaren beide woonachtig in deze gemeente.
    Waarvan akte,door ons ten Gemeentehuize in dubbel opgemaakt, en na voorlezing geteekend met de vader en de getuigen

    Alexander Steenssens, ijzerenwegwerkman, oud negen en dertig jaren en Carolus Josephus Keppens wever oud vijf en twintig jaren beide woonachtig in deze gemeente, de eerstgenoemde vader van den overleden en den tweeden gebuur, welke ons hebben verklaard dat heden om vijf uren des morgends in het gasthuis alhier overleden is Leonia Steenssens, geboren te Bornhem den dertigsten october achttien honderd vier en tachtig en daar woonachtig, dochter van den eersten Komparant Alexander Steenssens en van Maria Elisabetha Van den bossche beide in leven.
    Wij hebben ons van voormeld overlijden verzekerd. Waarvan akte, door ons ten Gemeente-huize in dubbel opgemaakt, en na voorlezing geteekend met de Komparanten.
