Janke Jacobs - geb. te Bolsward in 1606, overleden te Bolsward 21.3.1656, was gehuwd met Arjen Buwes, geb. 1609, overl. 7.2.1656, houtkoper en stadstimmerman te Bolsward. Janke was de 3e vrouw van Arjen, die eerder trouwde met
1. Trijntie Sweers (dochter Neeltje geb. 1623)
2. Hendrikje Douwes (zoon Willem 1635)
Kind: Antje Arjens, geb. 16.12.1647

Zowel Janke als haar man overleden kort na elkaar aan de pest. Ze lieten een dochtertje, Antje Arjens na, dat na de dood van haar ouders bij Gijsbert Jacobs die samen met Willem curator werden, in huis kwam, die daarvoor wekelijks 33stuivers kostgeld ontving. Na de dood van Gijsbert J. en zijn vrouw in 1666 kwam zij (19 jaar oud) op eigen benen te staan. In 1673 kreeg zij een buitenechtelijk kind van Willem van Velsen, zoon van burgemeester Adrianus van Velsen, die ookgedeputeerde was. Het kind kreeg de naam Adrianus en van de vader de plaats Grons nr. 10 "stimkohier" (dw.z. dat het stemrecht kreeg) te Burgwert. Antje Arjens trouwde later met een Klaas Jacobs, die "provisionele ontvanger generaal derconsumtien" van Friesland was en die Adrianus als zoon aannam.
Hierna een overzicht van het nageslacht van Antje Arjens, waarin de takken Braaksma, Van Loon en Buwalda voorkomen. Een van de nakomelingen uit deze tak (Buwalda), nl. Janke Haga (1783-1857) trouwde weer met een Holkema, nl. ds. FranciscusHolkema te Akkrum.
