Nijenhuijs, Nijenhuis, Nieuwenhuijs, Nieuwenhuis. Een familie waarvan zeer waarschijnlijk de oorsprong in Deventer ligt. Vervolgens in de 19e eeuw een enorme uitbreiding op de Veluwe, met name Apeldoorn, Epe en omliggende dorpen. Daarna volgt een verspreiding over geheel Nederland en zelfs naar de USA en Afrika.Naast de familie Nieuwenhuis bevat deze stamboom ook gegevens over de familie Betting uit Bredevoort, Gelderland.Een schitterend stadje in de Achterhoek.De stam van deze familie Betting, Bettink ligt in de omgeving van Bocholt in het voormalige Koninkrijk Pruissen, het huidige Duitsland.Deze stamboom is beslist niet compleet en ik houd mij aanbevolen voor verdere aanvulling en correctie. Gegevens mogen worden overgenomen maar laat het mij even weten.
