He lived in Athens, Texas. Some of his descendants there a re researching the
family history.

Alfred Lee is assuredly a grandson of Zachariah Stidham (29 5). His parents
must have died when he was young, because his son, Ned, di d not know their
names at the time of Alfred Lee's death (Ref: his death cer tificate).

Alfred and Nannie O. separated and divorsed because of hi s drinking. Nannie
and her three children moved in with her father and mothe r - REF: "Section 16:
Freeman/Stidham Family: Great Grandparents," manuscript pr ovided by Herman
Stidham of Tyler, Texas.

Death certificate say b. Oklahoma, 6 May 1862. Also says a ge 68 years, 10
month 2 days at death on 8 March 1931 (birth calculated 6 M ay 1862).
