Monday at the First Reformed
Church at Harrison with the
Rev. William Fennema officiating.
Burial will be at the
Harrison Cemetery. Friends
may call at the Clements-Wiese
Funeral Chapel in Corsica
Sunday from 7-9 p.m. or at the
church one hour before the
services are scheduled.
He was born March 27,1903 in
Douglas County to Mr. and
Mrs. Arie VandenHoek and
died at his home Dec. 19. On
Feb. 22,1929 he married Emma
Tolsma. The couple have
farmed in the Corsica area
most of their life.
Survivors include two sons,
Ed and Dennis, both of Corsica;
four daughters, Mrs. Winfred
(Sylvia) Nydam of Stickney;
Mrs. Randall (Carol)
Breukelman of Corsica, Mrs.
Jim (Betty) Tegethoff and Mrs.
Wayne (Mavis) Bultje, both of
Harrison; two brothers, C. A.
and Leo, both of Corsica; and
three sisters, Mrs. Harry
(Lena) Dooyema of Kenneth,
Minn., and Mrs. Everett
DeBoer and Mrs. Gertie
Groeneweg, both of Harrison.
